He’s conquered the rapids of the Zambezi, Nile, Sun Kosi, and Tamur rivers, led expeditions through the Grand Canyon and Ethiopia’s Omo River, and mastered the art of swift-water rescue. His mountaineering exploits have taken him to the Swiss Alps and New Zealand’s glaciers.
